Orchids are the royalty of flowers, totally fancy and ridiculously beautiful. Although the artist is not fancy nor ridiculously beautiful, she does share something in common with both the orchids and the monarch butterflies...none of us thrive in the cold! I sympathize with both the butterflies' urge to migrate to warmer temperatures as well as the hothouse flowers' inclination to be in a warm home.
Although the two species come from different parts of the world, they certainly enhance each other without overshadowing each other.
